Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist in Bioanalytical Chemistry to join our research and development team. This position plays a critical role in advancing our understanding of drug behavior in biological systems through the development and application of cutting-edge bioanalytical techniques. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the analysis of biological samples using mass spectrometry and other high-throughput analytical methods. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our drug discovery programs by developing and validating robust bioanalytical methods for complex biological matrices that can translate from preclinical use into clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the quantitative analysis of biological samples, ensuring the accuracy, sensitivity, and reproducibility of results.
  • Utilize advanced mass spectrometry techniques to analyze biological samples, supporting pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and toxicological studies.

  • 5+ years of postdoctoral experience required for Ph.D., 10+ years of post-degree experience for M.S. level; experience in pharma or biotech industry strongly preferred.
  • High level of expertise with LC/MS MS and other high-throughput analytical methods for the quantitative analysis of biological samples in complex matrices (e.g., serum, tissue, tumor); experience in bottoms-up proteomics workflows and the analysis of peptide-based modalities strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and validate bioanalytical methods, ensuring the precision and accuracy required for drug development studies.

Associate Scientist, Cell-Based Assays

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Scientist with experience in conducting cell-based assays to join our innovative research team. This lab-based role is integral to our preclinical drug development efforts, focusing on the execution of various assays to support our pipeline of therapeutic candidates. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in cell-based and biochemical assays, with hands-on experience in a range of assays critical to drug discovery. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of groundbreaking therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform target-binding potency assays and cell-based functional assays to support preclinical drug development activities, ensuring data accuracy and reproducibility.
  • Maintain and expand various cell lines, including the preparation and banking of cell stocks, to support ongoing bioassay development.
  • Perform PCR, plasmid preparation and sequencing to support assay development.
  • Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams to inform the progression of drug candidates.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • M.S. Degree in a biological discipline such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Biophysics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate, hands-on experience with bioassays, with 5+ years preferred.
  • Proficiency in routine mammalian cell culture, cell-based functional assays, and a variety of bioassays including cytotoxicity assays, reporter gene assays, qPCRs, proliferation assays, and biochemical/cellular protein-protein interaction assays.
  • Strong experience with data analysis tools and techniques for evaluating bioassay performance, including Western blotting,
  • PCR, plasmid/RNA extraction and other molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience with lentiviral/retroviral production, primary/3D/PDX culture, and ex vivo assays is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong commitment to a lab-based role, with a high level of comfort working in a hands-on capacity
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records of experimental work.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior scientists and contribute to a collaborative research environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Scientist, In Vivo Studies, with extensive experience in conducting preclinical drug studies using mouse models. For this lab-based role, candidates are expected to have a minimum of 3 years of experience (5+ years strongly preferred), involving hands-on work with animal models, including breeding, dosing, and sample collection, as well as various cell culture and histology techniques. The ideal candidate will be skilled in all aspects of preclinical studies and comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment. This position is essential to our research efforts and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of new therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain mouse colonies, including breeding and monitoring the health and welfare of the animals.
  • Perform in vivo studies, including injecting mice with test molecules, euthanizing animals, and collecting organs and blood samples for further analysis.
  • Conduct basic histology procedures, such as organ processing and H&E staining, to support tissue analysis.
  • Maintain and work with primary, 3D, and PDX cultures, including the culture of organoids.
  • Conduct ex vivo assays, including the generation and isolation of immune cells, co-culture setups, and cytotoxicity assays to support preclinical drug evaluation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: M.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of preclinical drug development through IND filing. The project manager will be responsible for managing detailed project timelines for both internal scientific teams and external CROs, and ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be able to  proactively  identify and resolve potential risks to avoid project delays and will also be well-versed in regulatory requirements in order to facilitate a smooth IND filing process. This is a critical role within our organization, requiring strong project management skills, scientific expertise, and the ability to drive complex projects to successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all activities related to the preclinical development of drug candidates to enable successful IND filings.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, tracking progress against key milestones, and ensuring project teams adhere to critical deadlines.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with contract research organizations (CROs) and other external partners, including contract negotiations and ensuring that deliverables are provided on time.
  • Collaborate closely with internal scientific teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication, alignment of goals, and proper execution of project plans.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks and bottlenecks, escalating issues when necessary and working to resolve them before they lead to delays.
  • Track and manage project budgets, ensuring that all activities are completed within the allocated budget, and providing regular financial updates to leadership.
  • Ensure that preclinical development activities are aligned with regulatory requirements, facilitating a smooth transition to IND filing.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports to provide clear communication of project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related fields required; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred. PMP Certification is a plus but not required.
  • S. with 10+ years of experience or M.S./Ph.D. with 5+ years of scientific project management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries, with experience overseeing/coordinating preclinical development activities through IND filing.
  • Proven ability to manage complex R&D projects, including experience with timeline management, risk identification, and issue escalation.
  • Experience coordinating activities with CROs and external partners, including contract negotiations and performance management.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory requirements and processes involved in IND filing, and experience ensuring compliance with these standards during preclinical development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate project progress, risks, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project or similar)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist in Drug Metabolism/Pharmacokinetics (DM/PK) to join our growing research team. This role is crucial for driving the in vivo evaluation of our therapeutic candidates, with a focus on understanding the pharmacokinetics, metabolism, and bioavailability of novel compounds. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DM/PK principles, extensive experience with in vivo testing and animal models. This hands-on role will require working in the lab, as well as designing studies and guiding company strategy as it relates to advancement of our drug discovery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently design and conduct in vivo studies to assess the pharmacokinetics, metabolism, and bioavailability of drug candidates using various animal models, particularly mouse models for cancer drugs.
  • Develop detailed experimental protocols and manage the review/approval process with IACUC
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including medicinal chemists and biologists, to integrate DM/PK data into the broader drug discovery and development process.
  • Manage and mentor laboratory technicians, providing guidance on experimental techniques and ensuring the smooth operation of the lab.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology, or a related field

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientist with a strong background in synthetic chemistry, peptide chemistry and solid-phase peptide synthesis. This role is primarily lab-based, focused on design, synthesis and biochemical characterization of preclinical compounds for oncology applications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, synthesize, purify, and characterize peptide starting materials that will serve as building blocks for our proprietary Precision-Linked Proteomimetics.
  • Characterize compounds using analytical methods including HPLC, LC-MS, NMR and other relevant analytical methods.
  • Conduct biochemical assays to determine target-binding potency of starting-point peptides and PLP compounds.
  • Execute experimental plans, troubleshoot synthetic challenges, and optimize peptide characteristics (physicochemical properties, target binding, etc.).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ph.D. with 2+ years of industry/postdoctoral experience or MS with 3+ year of industrial experience in a relevant scientific field (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, etc.) with a strong academic track record.
  • High degree of proficiency in synthetic organic chemistry with experience in peptide chemistry and solid-phase peptide synthesis.
  • Experienced with compound purification and characterization methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, and MALDI.
  • Experience with peptide design, including SAR studies and optimization.
  • Expertise in in vitro biochemical assay design and execution (SPR, BLI, TR-FRET, MST, etc.).
  • Experience applying computational methods to designing compounds is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automation and validation of assays for HTS is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to a lab-based role, with a high level of comfort working in a hands-on capacity in a synthetic chemistry environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records of experimental work

This is a critical role that will drive our drug discovery efforts by integrating computational models with experimental data to design and optimize therapeutic molecules constructed from peptide building blocks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in modeling protein structures and simulating molecular interactions to predict binding sites, structural conformations, and protein-protein interactions
  • Integrate experimental data from X-ray crystallography, NMR, cryo-EM, and other structural biology techniques with computational models
  • Analyze and interpret complex structural biology data to guide experimental strategies, provide structure-based drug design insights, and improve structure-activity relationship (SAR) optimization.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Computational Biology or related field.
